How much will a professional detail cost?

Phillip Geen- May 2024

Prices can vary when it comes to detailing and protection

Service Provider

Primarily, there are two types of providers when is comes to keeping your vehicle clean: car wash facilities and professional detailers. They offer different levels of service and quality. Your local car wash facility tends to provide general cleaning, often using basic cleansers and automated systems that may not reach every nook and cranny. Professional detailers employ high quality products using specialized tools and techniques to focus on meticulous cleaning deep into hard-to-reach areas.

Size and Trim level

The size of your vehicle plays an important role in pricing. Larger vehicles generally require more time and materials, so they tend to cost more to detail compared to smaller ones. Moreover the trim level will play a significant role in pricing. Leather, vinyl, plastic, rubber, fabrics, aluminum, wood and other composites must be treated independently to ensure long lasting results.

Type of Service

The type of service you want for your car, truck, SUV or van will have an impact on price. Whether it’s exterior detailing, interior detailing, or a combination of both, each service involves different tasks and levels of detail.
